Medical – Live Centers, Dead Centers, Face Drivers, Collet Chucks, and Collets
Due to the very tight working environment, surgical tools and hardware are typically very small in diameter and extremely long in length. The combination of these factors places unique demands on the workholding products used in these applications. Riten Industries has a comprehensive catalog of standard centers, dead centers, face drivers, collet chucks and collets capable of performing in these challenging and diverse applications. From our Light and X-Light live centers for extremely small parts, to our Concentric spring loaded live centers popular on sub-spindle machines.
Off-Road and Agricultural Equipment – Live Centers, Dead Centers, Face Drivers, Collet Chucks, and Collets
The special alloys used in these tough applications place a unique demand on the work holding equipment. Riten Industries provides mechanical compensating face drivers and CNC Heavy Duty live centers for turning large diameter shafts complete in one operation. Riten also manufactures both the carbide bull nose dead centers and the large carbide dead centers required for the precision grinding of typical internal power train components.
Rolls can vary in size from one pound to as much as 400,000 pounds. Riten Extra Heavy Duty live centers and Super Duty live centers are manufactured specifically for applications where excessive weights and tight tolerances are the requirement. Depending on the taper, Extra Heavy Duty live centers can support part weights in excess of 22,000 pounds, while Super Duty live centers have work piece weight capabilities in excess of 65,000 pounds.
We can provide a secure and accurate workholding solution for your initial turning operation by utilizing a mechanical or hydraulically compensating face driver in the headstock and a CNC heavy duty live center in the tailstock. Due to the superior holding power and accuracy provided by this set up parts can be turned quickly and accurately at high production rates.
